Hey KoG! I noticed something odd on jonnys (current) tele... right above his red dually, sticking out from under the pickguard is a weird white thing. It almost looks like a wire sticking out, but I figured that couldn't be it. I've seen it in basically all the pictures of jonnys tele from OK Computer to now. Any ideas what that might be?

According to a fan who’s friends with Duncan (Jonny’s guitar tech), the small, round bit of metal on the instrument, situated between the right-side neck pickup screw and one of the pickguard screws, is the ball-end of a guitar string. It was added in 1997 so that Jonny could hook his high E-string onto it to get very high notes.
