Alright, I was wondering would you know about this. Ed O'Brien always seems to be playing something on his guitar during the intro to Idioteque live, while the keyboard is playing. But no sounds comes out, so I'm assuming he's using a loop pedal or something like that. Would you know what he's doing?

Also, on Ed’s latest pedalboard, one of the switching units has “A2/Listen” labeled on one of the loops. He probably hits this to send it only direct, and his tech just mutes the signal going to the house, but lets him continue to listen.
