If you mean the piano at the very start, it’s an acoustic piano with some clipping and reduced high frequencies. The piano itself is played softly and close mic’d, bringing out the mechanical noise of the instrument. It may be felt muted, a technique common in modern classical music and also heard on Jonny’s soundtracks. It’s likely an upright piano, as those often have lockable felt-mute pedals. There’s also some compression, which brings out the sustain of the notes. Depending on the compressor, that could also be responsible for the gritty clipping on the attack of the louder notes. But for the clipping, they also could have used a tube amp (possibly with the treble turned down), or used a rack preamp, or used EQ or clipping plugins, or any combination of those.
